Tranny works really well and almost never downshifts when under load (I pulled an 10,000 lb unit from Indiana back home). Easy to drive and I trust it's ability to pull up fairly steep grades without the need to downshift is OK. It certainly sounds good. No evidence of dragging or laboring. Our 1997 Dodge RAM pickup "exploded" near Cle Elum and we were rescued by Justin Fleming and Company @ Transmissions Plus - who not only accommodated our trailer, granted us water and power, Wi-Fi, and indoor bathroom, but also TOTALLY repaired by replacement our torque converter & transmission. We spent 8 days with them while a complete rebuilt was being manufactured and tested and discovered the charms of Cle Elum which we would have missed completely without the trip interruption.
